As a collaborative project at university, we developed a solution to providing a service for people within the design industry and graduating students, making the essential links and central hub for creatives from Scottish universities.

The platform was titled BELTER, a commonly used Scottish phrase, which included a full variable identity, a virtual reality environment where students could practice exhibiting work, and a website showing how the service would be used as a student.

This project was designed alongside the talented trio of Aidan Gillespie, Grace Johnstone and Yeliz Altin.

Within the platform, each student user when creating an account must create their own "E" letter
using any digital or physical processes they would like, before they can start uploading work.

This "E" is then used within our primary wordmark logo for each user, giving everyone their
own personal identity on the platform.

Within the platform, we developed a working virtual exhibition space. This was included
to allow students to practice exhibiting their work, prior to degree shows and portfolio
presentations.  The exhibition includes work from a range of universities in Scotland,
allowing the connections to be made between cities and students during their studies.
